Supply of sleepers for the track renewal of the Torralba-Soria line

The supply of sleepers is part of the track renewal work between Torralba station at kilometre point 0/000 and kilometre point 13/000, and between kilometre point 58/480 and Soria station at kilometre point 92/704.

This contract, awarded to the joint venture formed by Traviesas y Prefabricados de Aragón and Travipos, includes the supply, transport and unloading of 86,300 polyvalent monoblock sleepers, type PR-VE, for track 54 E1, including their fasteners.

The renovation of the Torralba-Soria line contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) and in particular its targets 9.1 (to build reliable infrastructure) and 9.4 (to modernise infrastructure).
